I’m Sonja, founder of Nurture, ardent lover of butter, candlelight and singing in harmony. Card carrying INFJ/Manifesting Generator. A ‘food storyteller’ at heart, I create custom menus and food experiences using food as a tool for connection and can’t wait to connect with all of you! I’m also excited to be building towards my dream of running a Nurture Farmhouse ‘coworking B&B’.

I’m Steph, a photographer and business coach for thoughtful entrepreneurs. With my photography, I try to capture candid moments of true joy & connection, whether I’m documenting your creative business, a fun event, or a couple in love. In business, my goal is to make your business more sustainable, more expansive, and ultimately more fun for you by streamlining your systems, supporting your business strategy, and helping you prioritize your self-care. My podcast, Slowpreneur: Business without the Busy, aims to spark conversations about new ways of living and working that support and honour our humanity. In my spare time, you can find me reading romance novels and spending time with my dog Bruno (preferably simultaneously!). I also love swimming, exploring beautiful cities, and going out for tacos and margaritas.

Hi, I’m Cassandra currently a Niagara region resident but dreaming of living in a small beach town somewhere that I can watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee in my bare feet every morning. I’ve recently got into watercolour painting and love to dabble in my downtime while travelling. I love being in nature and am a firm believer of the magic of women gathering. I can’t wait to spend time with you 🙂

I’m Ekta, a dreamer, learner, and foodie at heart. As the solopreneur, chef, and owner behind Arth, I’ve built a beautiful connection with my community in Toronto through farmers’ markets, workshops, and supper clubs. My food is an honest reflection of my journey—from where I started to where I stand today. Moving continents while transitioning careers has been a defining part of my personal journey, as well as my culinary creations.
I am passionate about exploring flavours. Inspired by the seasonal gifts and the depth that fermentation brings, I’m dedicated to bringing seasonal, fermented, and Indian flavors to my cooking—sharing food that is as intentional as it is delicious.
A former bread baker with a deep love for grain diversity (and diversity in all aspects of life), my culinary journey has taught me to be more thoughtful, not only in my food and sourcing but also in the way I approach my life. I see food as a lens through which I learn about the world, and finds immense joy in sharing these lessons with others.

Hi I’m Shannon, I feel most like myself when I’m immersed in the natural world. I’m an avid hiker, bird watcher, naturalist, and gardener. Spending time in and learning from nature is truly what makes me happiest.
I also love to craft, both professionally and leisurely, a project I’m really excited about is the collage tarot deck I’m currently making. I thrifted an old tarot deck and am individually collaging all 78 cards. It’s one of the coolest works of art I’ve ever made.
I’m excited to spend a weekend at this retreat nurturing myself with good food, a community of women, and a connection to crafts.
We’re so excited to introduce you to your fellow retreaters! Watch this space as new folks join to get to know them before the retreat.

HI there, I’m Shulamit (shoe-lah-meet). I am a therapist who specializes in working with entrepreneurs, particularly women business owners, helping them navigate the mental health challenges inherent in running a business. I help them build resilience and create sustainable mental health practices that integrate with their business operations, moving away from toxic hustle culture toward more humane and liberatory ways of running a business. I love to knit—by the fire in the winter and outdoors in summer—while I listen to audiobooks (feminist sci-fi or contemporary feminist-y romances). I’m a fairly new knitter and mostly make shawls and wraps because honestly, garments that have to be fitted are too intimidating for me right now! I also love to sing and am a member of a local community choir.

Hi, I’m Laura—HR leader, nutritionist, and speaker who helps high performers feel and lead better from the inside out. I’ve watched Sonja and Steph pour their hearts into these retreats for years, and I’m so excited to finally step away from the day-to-day and be on the receiving end of all that creativity, care, and connection. I’m a proud mama of two teenage boys, married to my high school sweetheart, and constantly juggling family, work, and big dreams—with snacks in my bag and a sense of humour close by. I’m also passionately curious about digestive wellness… and I’ll be the first to admit: it’s very hard for me not to talk about poop—especially on overnight trips. You’ve been warned. I’m an extroverted introvert who thrives on good food, deep conversation, and moments that remind us to slow down and be nurtured. Can’t wait to meet you.

Hi, I’m Brittney. I run an interior design studio, and some affectionately call me a design witch! As a Reiki Master, I blend energy work with my design process to create spaces that are visually beautiful but also feel energetically balanced. A true Gemini, manifesting generator and eternal optimist. I married my high school sweetheart and have two incredible kiddos, Poet and Hart. My kids constantly inspire the deep work I do on my own spiritual journey, knowing it benefits both myself and them. I adore travelling and getting lost in new cities, admiring and touching every stone and discovering intricate tile patterns and textures along the way. I am always seeking out the magic in everyday moments.

Hi everyone! I’m Danielle — a strategic marketing consultant by trade, but at heart, I’m a curious creative, a deep feeler, and a big laugher. Professionally, I’ve spent the last decade working across industries like banking, luxury automotive, and retail, helping brands turn complexity into clarity. I thrive in the space where structure meets storytelling — especially when AI and bold ideas are involved. But outside the boardroom? I’m very much like a flower: sunshine, water, and meaningful connection keep me blooming. I’m a voracious reader, a lifelong learner, and a craft dabbler — give me yarn, a paintbrush, or scraps of paper and I’m in my happy place. I believe in the power of a good therapist, a deep breath, and a laugh that makes your eyes water. What you see is what you get — I value realness, kindness, and community. I’m always working to be a better ally, a more present human, and a fast friend. Can’t wait to get to know all of you!

Hi, I’m Farhana, a working mama raising two kids while holding one in my heart. I’m also an artist, a dancer and a chef, where the creative expressions are influenced by a very diverse background. I’ve been a public servant for 26+ years, working for the City of Toronto where I have spent the last 14 years in waste management. I recently got a new job where I will be leading projects in various strategic initiatives towards a sustainable future and building a circular economy. In 2020, I launched Shakti Art Studios, a space dedicated to healing from loss through empowering artwork. I am the most excited by a good groove to get me moving and creating something beautiful with my hands!
she/her |@thesoulfulsprout
Hi! I’m Ashleigh — a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and the founder of The Soulful Sprout, a women’s wellness clinic rooted in digestive and hormone health. I spend my days supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies through nourishment, nervous system care, and functional testing. Outside of the clinic, I’m a nature-loving homebody, big fan of slow mornings, gardening, and baking my weekly sourdough. I share life with two sweet pups (Olive & Figgie) and an incredible husband who cheers on all my wild dreams. I’m also a herbalist (with a whole tea garden) and a forever student of the Universe. I’m so excited for this retreat — to connect with other inspiring women, share stories, and soak in the magic of intentional rest, nourishment and creativity.

I’m someone who does too much but can’t stop and feels when I do. I light up when I see others light up because I’ve inspired them to do something.
I’m someone who’s learning boundaries with my own time, learning to enjoy the moments in between and just experiencing life and love every single day and then being grateful and hoping our environment doesn’t turn into a warzone one day.
I’m leaning into my Projector status and leading my website agency team at the Launch It Co to consistent success and leading my “day job” at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce to new awesome heights.
